Crime: A lot, except for pork haha. The crimes we shared: oysters, smoked cod roe with toasted sourdough bread, roasted baby beetroot salad with walnuts, buffalo mozzarella with purple sprouting anchovy and chilli dressing, Dorset Clams with lemon & coriander, awesome chocolate mousse, COS wine and another one I forgot haha

Investigation: Our London friend Ben recommended this relative new joint at Columbia Road called Brawn. Yes, I hear you think: yuck. Why would you eat there?

Brawn has a specialty list of like everything of a pig you could eat. Stuff your butcher would throw away, but for example Chinese people love to eat. Since I don’t eat pork it was logic to try out the vegetarian and seafood dishes.



The menu consisted of little dishes, just like tapas, with good prices. The idea is to order a few dishes with some sourdough, share them and drink some good wine with it. The French vibe restaurant was a pleasant place with good service. Love the girls!
 
Brawn is ideal if you’re with a cool group of four and love to chat all night long. The food is delicious and the vibe is great. Please make a reservation in advanced. Enjoy!
