Another joint for the ones with food allergies haha a lunch room where you can find all natural and organic breakfast, lunch and sweets without refined sugar or yeast. Have a try and visit Sugarless by J&J in Amsterdam West.

Investigation: My dear friend recently found out she couldn’t tolerate refined sugar, fructose and modern sweeteners. She had to say goodbye to her Cola Light and beers to commit herself to a more healthy lifestyle to stay energized.

I had totally no idea where to go for breakfast with her. Sugar is almost in everything.
In bread, fruit etc and I wasn’t a lot of help to her. She pointed me out to Sugarless practicably around the corner, a place I’ve passed past for almost a year and never took the effort to check it out.

We’ve ordered the all in breakfast because it was to early to have those sandwiches with a lot of hearty toppings. The breakfast I had was a classic one, nothing special, BUT the scones were awesome. Crispy wholemeal scones with some orange zest topped with clotted cream and jam. Unfortunately the scones where quite expensive for what you get, maybe it’s because of the ingredients. 

I don’t know if it’s going to be my favourite place, but it’s worth to check if you have allergies and follow a special diet!
