Lachaert: When B&B meets design

A dear food and design lover Theor pointed me out on this awesome exhibition Table Talks and B&B in Tielrode, Belgium where he ‘stranded’ because of the misty weather the last couple of days. The gallery was opened in 2000 by designers Sophie Lachaert and Luc d’Hanis. Just next to their home and workshop where you can find the Bed & Breakfast too!
The gallery exhibits both design and food related concepts. The latest exhibition Table Talks in collabo with chef Sergio Herman and culinary photographer Tony Le Duc shows the use of smashed porcelain to serve beautiful dishes with a lovely concept you need to check out on this website. You can also find more info there about the opening hours.

As you may know I love great company, great food, stories and a lot of nice stuff which relate to food like art and design! Being pampered with great taste and beauties for the eyes once a while isn’t bad at all. And I know for sure that Lachaert’s B&B will give me the time-out I need right now.

Can’t wait to visit the gallery and stay at the B&B. Think I want to live there….
