Succes beef stew
This recipe is really for the lazy ones. Last Saturday I tried out the infamous beef stew recipe of Jelle Spanjaard. Both Jelle and I have a subscription to de Krat, a North Holland CSA service (community supported agriculture). We receive local produced goods like jam, juices, vegetables, fruits, eggs, bread and meat or fish on a weekly base. Most of the time Jelle and I cook together with de Krat items and make several feast meals like beef stew!
We received tons of Gasconne* beef and decided to make stew. This was after Jelle received a Le Creuset pan from his mother. I cooked with Le Creuset when I was still living at home and still need a pretty one in grey, instead of the OG color in Cherry red haha Had an awesome crude iron black one on my mind first, but that one wasn’t smooth inside which could led to rust if you don’t take good care of it.

Going to get the grey one…the black crude iron was my favourite.
