Greedy as I was… lured by the smell of fresh fried Churros… as was the cute chubby boy who just came from Judo class and ordered tons of Churros, I bought a bag full of Churros as well! 5 pieces for 1€ with a cup of dark chocolate sauce.  

Just ate one and a half Churro…I was so full and will leave fried pastries alone for a couple months, I guess. It was worth it though in combination with the ambiance at the square of the Basilica of Candelaria. 

Good Churros from El Guanche could be found on the corner of Calle de los Principes and Calle Obispo Perez Caceres. Watch out for this sign haha
