One of my favourite breakfast and lunch spots in the Centre of Amsterdam is called Gartine. Home made treats made from ingredients grown in the garden of the owners according the Slow food principles, served in a cute and antique decorated brasserie. Must visit!

This place is located in the most crowded place of Amsterdam. In an alley between the shopping streets Kalverstraat and the Rokin. A gem where one would pass by or found by lucky tourists.

The place is toooo cute for school and even the guys will love it too. Why? The menu has something for all. Yoghurt with dried fruits, scrambled eggs, French toast, sandwiches with cheeses from local farmers with homemade chutney and pastries to die for.
