ICN Gallery / ICN Cafe - London
Our Kuvva quest to London was to visit the London Frieze Art Fair and scout for London based artists for the Kuvva platform. I love to spend my time in the Shoreditch area for art, fashion and good food. On my way to the Moniker Art Fair I passed ICN Gallery. The gallery looked very crisp so walked back to check the place out. It happen to be a Japanese art gallery slash Japanese cafe. Guess what, I was the first customer of their new Cafe!

Like the rest of the team I skipped breakfast and was very hungry at the time I arrived at ICN. The concept was exhibiting Japanese art and serving the best Japanes teas and snacks to the gallery visitors. You can find delicious snacks for just 2 pounds.
Next to the cafe was the exhibition space opened a few weeks before. ICN Gallery presented the OHAKO (ones best technique and skill) where you could find traditional Japanese tea boxes from Shizuoka. The participating artists received a tea box for their drawings, photography and sculptures, which resulted to these awesome pieces of art.

For a cup of Japanese tea and awesome Japanese art, visit ICN Gallery / ICN Cafe 96-98 Leonard Street, London open daily from 12pm-7pm. Check out their website for the latest artwork.
