In the first week of March 2009 we celebrated our anniversary in London and planned our meetings with our friends in lunchrooms or restaurants. Nalden bumped into Karim and he took us for lunch at Mildred’s. An all vegetarian place with colorful dishes served in a cute bistro. 

Meat eaters won’t notice the veggie menu, because of the clever combination of colorful ingredients. It was quite chill outside, so I ordered the organic sweet potato and leek soup with focaccia bread. 

Mildred introduced me to Luscombe Ginger Beer back then, which is now available in the better organic supermarkets. If you love ginger beer with smooth bubbles, try this one out.
