After our visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and checking the Refound pop-up shop out we needed to have something to drink, because we were kind off dehydrating after a two hours walk in the awesome Kelvingrove Museum.
One of the things I love as a tourist is to do what the locals do. Go to the cinema! And preferably the art house ones. Just to experience the sphere of a city and its folks. We were planning to check out Ides of March and dine at the Grosvenor Cafe first. A venue with a cafe slash restaurant in the loft of the building, a bar and cinema downstairs.
If you don’t know me that well and don’t get why I eat meat, yet be enthusiast about vegetarian food here’s the WHY. First I don’t eat pork, my dairy and meat tolerance is quite bad, need my vegs and when travelling uhm I’d like to play it safe…
Unfortunately I always have to skip the traditional U.K. breakfast because of the bacon, sausage and black pudding. When I’m abroad I’d love to eat local. And today I had a fantastic alternative I’d like to share.The Stravaigin’s full Vegetarian breakfast!
I used to spend tons of money on shopping. Looking for limited edition stuff like bags, sneakers etcetera. Still love beautiful things which enriches my life, but instead of shopping like a retard I rather check out art, let it inspire me and spend more monies on delicious food. The Centre for Contemporary Arts had most of my favourites. Jewelery made by local artists, prints by local graphic designers, art and a lovely cafe called Saramago.
First stop The Corinthian. A beautiful venue which used to be a Tabacco factory, a bank and even a justiciary court, now the most awesome venue in Scotland. Looked good, but what about the menu?
