Crime: linguine with vongole and gamba’s
Scene: De Italiaan, Bosboom Tussaintstraat 29, Amsterdam
Investigation: I’m blessed with a good Italian around the corner. An Italian which is packed when great weather occurs. So, I recommend you to make a reservation if you’d like to sit inside or come early in the evening to seize a table and some chairs.
Why that popular during warm or sunny days? Except for the fabulous location in one of the most cool streets of Amsterdam, de sunny and cosy terrace a long a popular bicycle route for locals. Or the beautiful trees a long the steet. Of course their great cuisine.
The Italiaan has good wooden oven pizza (royally topped), delicious anti pasti, pasta and truffle gnocchi. Actually longing for the linguini a vongole, while writing this…
I love their service and eating on the terrace reminds me how happy I am living in Amsterdam in a neighborhood which doesn’t look like Amsterdam btw haha. The whole combination Leads to a lovely experience with family or friends.
