On Plate, Still Hungry

Yeah a new initiative where I’m looking forward to! A magazine about modern food culture. Different in which way? I guess the curation. On Plate, Still Hungry will cover exclusive stories around the globe. To celebrate this Protein will host the launch with an exhibition in London, running from Saturday 28th April - Sunday 6th May, with meal time shots of the platforms most favorite 47 London - based creatives. Come and make my mouth water! Subscribe here if you’re curious about the magazine. Well, I am :)

Brush your meal away with Yumaki

Hygiene is just as important in the kitchen as in your mouth haha especially if you ate a bit too much garlic. I love the new color combo’s by Yumaki making your daily ritual more fun. Since I’m into plants and (urban) gardening the brushes Forest (above) and Fresh immediately got my attention!

Tenerife, all about bananas, vino, honey, papas con mojos, salted fish and gofio

I decided to have a weeks break. A full week of sun without me getting worried about jet lags and such. We ended booking a last minute to Tenerife, Spain. Only four hours from Amsterdam known for their party and mass tourism island haha

My job was to get to know the locals, their culture and cuisine by renting a cabriolet. Road trip!

My Taste of Montreal
A few weeks ago Sabine de Witte contacted me to contribute to her first curated CitizenMag Issue from one of my favourite hotels: CitizenM. She was looking for like minded people for the Tasty Issue who love to travel and would like to share their taste about lifestyle, design, good reads and of course places to eat.
So, what was my memorable travelling moment with good food? I’ve been to a lot of places, but Montreal was one with great memories. A European kinda city across the ocean with tons to discover.
Check some of my Montreal tips and tips from other travellers in the new CitizenMag Tasty Issue. I’ve more Montreal food tips, but need to find my notebook first….
