There’s a new gin in town During a rooftop party of a friend Harald who became 30, I was introduced to this beautiful designed bottle of VL 92 Gin by the distributor Sietze himself. Some know him from his favourite vodka on earth called Bishkek Vodka from Kyrgyzstan. Yes, of all place haha Instead of just distributing, like he did with Bishkek Vodka, he worked together with distiller van Toor in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands where they came up with a new product. A gin made with coriander leaves instead of coriander seeds, which gives the LV 92 Gin a specific taste. Totally clueless about gin and vodka I had a chat with Sietze about vodka first. In my opinion all Vodka just taste the same haha. What about my experience with Vodka? Almost none. Never used it to intoxicate myself, but used it to make some good penne with my first Zubrowka bottle with bison grass EVER which I got as a present from my brother in law. What should I do with it anyway? I quote Sietze: DRINK IT! So, in my amateur state of being, I have to come over to Rotterdam where Sietze lives to have a vodka tasting first before he teach me more about the world of gin. Yeah! Keep you guys posted about the tasting. The Gin will be sold at selected liquor stores and soon on-line.
